About Steven Trisker DNP

Steven is a graduate Doctorate Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the ANCC in Family Medicine. He obtained his degree in Family and Emergency Medicine from Rutgers University School of Biomedical and Health Sciences where he graduated in the top of his class. He has worked extensively in wound care since 2008, as well as emergency room medicine, correctional emergency medicine, urgent care, pain management, and mobile intensive care. For over a decade he has been on the cutting edge of wound care medicine and has been healing patients utilizing current evidence-based medicine as the driving force of his practice, from sharp excisional debridement to advanced biologics and everything in between.

Steven specializes in all types of wounds including traumas, pressure injuries, vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and surgical wounds, and has treated patients in their homes, hospitals, and in skilled nursing facilities over the years in multiple states. He has also collaborated, consulted, and trained the staff for many home health care companies and skilled nursing facilities to improve the wound care they provide to their patients. Steven has now joined Dr. Eugnio Rodriguez MDPA / Wound Care Associates in October of 2022 to bring his extensive wound care experience and expertise to South Eastern Florida.
